Knowing which strategies are the right strategies is an imperative piece of your marketing efforts. Knowing which strategies aren’t right for your needs right now is also an important factor in determining which marketing strategies to choose.
For example, you feel like you need leads and you need them now. You speak to a marketing company and they offer Search Engine Optimization and tell you that you will get leads from that. While it’s true, the problem in that is SEO is a long-term strategy and doesn’t typically produce fast results. It’s a great strategy if you’re looking for the long-term, but not when you need leads now.
If you’re like most companies, you’ve done some marketing. You get some marketing strategies going. You spend some time and money trying to get out there so people can see your products and services and hopefully, (fingers crossed) buy from you.
As a business owner, your primary job is to ensure the company generates revenue. You think about it day and night. You dream about it. Sometimes there’s nightmares. Your primary responsibility is ensuring that more sales come in than bills go out. That’s the only way to make profit, right?
